Meeting the client

Before any plans are made, before any designs are created and before any costs are quoted, we take the time to arrange an initial meeting with our client. Our team of specialised experts listen to each individual client’s briefing, aspirations, needs and requirements to come up with a formulated plan that will create a space that will enhance the performance of the business.

During this meeting, we determine what the core strengths of your business are, whether there are long-term plans for expansion and how to promote employee health and wellbeing within the workplace.

Whether the priority is to create a formal, corporate workspace or something slightly more collaborative, through careful space planning and design the final outcome will not only be a productive space for work but an area that expresses the client’s brand identity.

Transforming your ideas into reality

Having listened to the needs and requirements of the client’s organisation, together with our design team we will deliver a solution that meets the client’s budget, goals and best uses their space to create long-term value.

Our design team then focusses on a defined project programme to ensure a strategic brief is created with an agreed timescale. Throughout all stages of the design process quality is of primary importance.

Whatever your design proposals are we will make them a reality. If you take a look at our case study for Endless Gain, you’ll see in their brief that they needed a collaborative space that would accommodate future growth while capturing the social “coffee-shop” atmosphere of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Our contractors

As well as providing exceptional office design, fit-out and refurbishment services, at Workspace Design and Build we also deliver a team that includes the best surveyors, project managers and contractors.

Once the design for the project has been agreed and scheduled we then pass this information to one of our reliable contractor teams. A quantity surveyor, general site manager and a representative from our Workspace team will be dedicated to overseeing the fit-out. This ensures consistency throughout the entire project while committing to the initial, set plan in line with the client’s vision.

And of course, no project is complete without some admin. We work closely with an administrative project manager while the fit-out is taking place – just to keep an extra close eye on things and to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our responsibility

At Workspace Design and Build, we are recognised self-contractors and adhere to the considerate construction guidelines.

All our processes are effective in promoting a safe environment for all staff members, clients, building contractors and developers as well as the general public who are in close proximity to the development.

All waste produced during our projects are disposed of effectively and efficiently.

Once a client’s fit-out has been completed we won’t disappear. We are committed to ensuring that everyone we work with is delighted with their finished space. A full Operating and Manufacturing manual is issued for reference. This guide contains all the information about how everything works and how to make the most of the new workspace.

Our dedicated Workspace team will also continue to deliver exceptional levels of support. Should anything happen to the new working environment within twelve months our team will be on hand to help.
