USDAW

This CAT B project for one of Britain’s largest trade unions, spans 39,000 sq ft and took 18 weeks to complete. Having been in their previous building for over 100 years, USDAW felt it was time for a change into a more modern workplace.

From start to finish, Workspace Design and Build worked closely with USDAW to bring their vision to life and create a new home for their staff thrive in. Notable features of this project include the use of bespoke acoustic panels to produce no sound transference, the creation of an automated loading bay to facilitate the packing area and the design of large meeting rooms which can be opened up for conferencing purposes. Alongside these functional features, notable, eye-catching design elements include the use of contrasting materials, bespoke joinery and an extensive furniture package.

This was a really important project for all of us at USDAW – and we’re pleased to have chosen Workspace Design and Build to be a part of it. From the initial design meetings, to progress updates and handover, the whole team have been a pleasure to work alongside. We couldn’t be happier with our new headquarters.
