The team at Workspace Design and Build delivered a new office for Munich Re Specialty Group, in the heart of Manchester. This CAT A & CAT B refurbishment was carefully designed to ensure sustainability was at the heart of everything. One of our favourite elements of sustainability was the use of cork panels on the walls – a fun and creative way to use a product like this within a professional space.
A key element to the design for this space was the use of bespoke items throughout – from tea points, slatted walls to metal planters this all adds to the unique feel of the space. With biophilia an important element to all offices, we brought life and greenery into the space through a moss wall and plants throughout – including from the acoustic ceiling rafts.
