Bruntwood’s Manchester City Centre space at 57 Spring Gardens doesn’t get more central than this, therefore, they required an eye-catching entrance!
Occupying a prominent corner plot, this building is surrounded by great locations, bus, train and tram links, plus the best of Manchester’s shops, restaurants and bars. Bruntwood required a catchy and vibrant entrance to attract people coming in and out of the building and one that would look great through the dual aspect windows at street level.
The aim was to create a vibrant, bright, modern and welcoming reception area enhancing light into the space. Workspace Design and Build were asked to incorporate a bespoke planting scheme as a feature around the lift entrance.
Workspace Design and Build produced a modern and radiant reception area. This featured a white, curved slat, wrap-around desk which began at the entrance stairs. Also, at the entrance, a bespoke DDA compliant stair lift was built in to the design.
Incorporating greenery, a living wall surrounded the desk and strip lighting was installed which gave the space brightness.
The sense of light and nature gave the reception a natural and airy persona.
