This project saw the CAT A refurbishment of 3 out of 5 floors at 29 Peter Street, Manchester City Centre, this follows previously completed work at the building. The renovation across these 3 floors consisted of new partition walls to create a separate meeting room, installation of a glass partition, new flooring and the installation of a tea point with feature wall and flooring. The yellow wall and flooring in the tea point are the most striking element on each floor, grabbing your attention. The calming grey of the carpet tiles and tea point tones down the strength of the yellow walls and vinyl flooring whilst giving the tea point the character it would perhaps lack by itself. The original exposed ceiling remains on all floors, giving the offices a more spacious feel and an industrial, unfinished appearance. This not only looks great but allows for easy maintenance due to unhindered accessibility of the services.
