After the successful viewing of a CAT A standard suite, TopDesk worked with the Workspace team to deliver their Northern office space.
Leading asset management firm Schroders appointed Workspace Design and Build to refurbish four sample suites throughout the building to showcase the office space.
All four suites were stripped out and completed beyond CAT A standard, each with different features but a consistent feel.
With the enhanced CAT A complete, TOPdesk, a top-rated Service Management Software provider, secured the space and knew they could trust Workspace D&B to take the next step and deliver the CAT B within budget and programme.
With another team 200 miles away in London, it was important for the TOPdesk team at City Tower to have the space to connect with them easily, whilst maintaining an uninterrupted collaborative working space.
The brief highlighted the need for several meeting rooms, open plan office and creative spaces for socialising.
To fulfil the brief, we designed a space with a large open plan desk area, 14-seat boardroom, 2 meeting rooms, an open plan kitchen and an informal meeting space.
As well as this, we designed a separate room at one end of the office which includes a second kitchen, ping pong table and table football. The vision was that employees could spend their lunch break there, take a break from their desk, or a place to come together at the end of the work day. It’s a great space for employees to switch off!
All of this, whilst overlooking an amazing view of Manchester from the 25th Floor of City Tower.
