City Tower – 24th Floor

City Tower – 24th Floor

The Brief

Working alongside client MHBC, we were awarded this full floor 8000 sq ft project and instructed to create four separate suites to allow smaller businesses the opportunity to have space in City Tower.

CAT A Refurbishment/Partitioning

The comparison of the two drawings highlights the partitioning that was completed on site. Ranging from 1400 sq ft to 2600 sq ft, the four suites are ideal to cater for smaller business looking for an office in a prime location.

The mechanical and electrical works on this project was the most complex component due to all suites needing to be sub-metered. Due to the creation of partitions we were also tasked with reconfiguring the lighting throughout the floor. To ensure compliance with air regulations, alternators were also installed.

In each reception area, the existing speed gates were stripped out, and new Boon Edam gates were fitted in their place, along with bespoke Crown Cut American Black Walnut reception desks. Works throughout each reception also included sanding the original flooring and re-lacquering to refresh the space. The bright furniture installed in the reception area contrasts with the wooden flooring and wall cladding, adding a pop of colour to the room.

Decoration throughout the suites was kept very minimal to allow for new tenants to put their personal stamp on the space. Kitchens and tea points were installed with a rustic oak worktop – again fairly simple to allow for personalisation.
